The stay was okay. The rooms were lovely, I got the feel I needed from that. The breakfast was fairly good. The views from the top restaurant are 👌The toilet was broken, I was too exhausted to report in time but I could have hoped it was checked before me checking in. I reported it the following day, someone came over after a few hours but at that time I had already decided to just Check Out. I initially hoped to extend my stay longer. The staff were lovely especially from the breakfast dinning and the concierge (Douglas and others). However, the lady (Chipo) that attended to me as first contact at the reception was very standoffish to an extent that she actually rolled her eyes at my mum. She seemed to be very selective in her interactions. I feel this stole from my experience, I was looking forward to a stay that was pleasant especially when it comes to service. I can overlook a broken toilet but not a rude staff.

I had a short stay at the InterContinental Hotel in Lusaka at the end of January. The front desk staff and other staff were very good, professional, attentive and warm; some of them even exceptional in their service. The cleanliness and comfort of the room was very good. The hotel was clean, well-maintained and the overall experience was super. The food was well-prepared and of good quality. Nevertheless, I have one suggestion towards the breakfast that is served: try to shorten the waiting time for the English breakfast or the à la carte egg dishes.

It was a lovely New Year’s Eve experience. I haven’t been to Intercontinental since its renovation and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. New ambience , rooms are nice, clean and well furnished. There was a lovely live band and some fireworks to end the night ❤️

Just awesome. What a nice friendly place. Clean, well managed and attention to detail. Brings back a little class to hotels with chocolates on the pillow. Breakfast staff really helpful and accommodating, will make a plan incase you miss breakfast. Truly awesome experience.
